The side guides or vertical guides are the sliding seats for the support of the plexiglass plate. They are fastened with a quick coupling for easy removal from the steel bars. The upper from the lower are distinguished by the different color of the fixing screws, black for the lower and gray for the upper. The adjustment of the depth of insertion of the support is integrated in the guides.
The support is inserted with limited friction in the upper or lower lateral guide, it contains an adjustable ring nut in which the pin that supports the plexiglass plate rotates by 180 °. This is applied with a quick fixing system.

In the phase of fixing the steel bars to the articulator, the aluminum rod fits into both side guides to allow their alignment.
The set consists of 15 reusable neutral plates, a plate with a median and transversal line and a plate with millimeter references, which can be surmounted to the neutral plates to be drawn.
The optical aligner allows you to frame perpendicularly the plate. It is applied in the center crest area near a point drawn on the edge of the model and you orient yourself, with only one eye open, so that you can completely see the light inside the hole. Then you draw a small circle on the plate around the model point. These circles serve as a viewfinder to orient themselves perpendicularly to the plate when reporting references and when they are subsequently observed.
